I've tried all the fit overs. For any sight fishing, you MUST control light from the sides. I've tried the metal clip-ons that are sold with some frames and they suck - no light control from the sides and I would get weird double lens glare. You'll get that weird double lens glare with all of them, but it is minimized with side control. I didn't like the Fitovers either, because then you have the weight of two full pairs of glasses on your face. Some the have now though don't look so bad, but it is still wearing two pairs of glasses.
Honestly, my favorite are the ugliest - slip in types. They are cheap ($6-ish), polarized, offer side protection and come in grey, brown and yellow. I'd keep a pair in the truck and in my fly-fishing bag, although I would catch a lot of crap for wearing them. Like these:

Hey Angler,I am sure you are right on the money, however everytime I researched a pair, most of the companies did not know anything about amber/rose color lenses or that people used them for fishing (I KNOW! & I"M NOT KIDDING). When I did find a couple stores that knew what they were talking about, the cost would be $300 -$400+ and that is out of my budget. I am thinking about getting a pair for a while until I can save up for a a solid pair in the future. In your experience, any preferences between the wear over and the clip on. The website literature is written supporting the wear overs isolating of light from the sides but I don't know if they are at all comfortable. I will try and drive to Baltimore this weekend to the Bass Pro Shop to try them on but I wnated to pick everyones brains first.Aaron
