How about below Fletchers? I've considered floating from Fletchers to the key bridge. Worth cahsing smallmouth there with a fly rod?

--Yes. Many. As a reference point. If you were to go across the river straight off the dock walkway at Fletcher's to the VA shore there is a rock the shape of a triangle. It's huge. Locally known as Ferguson Rock. You can see it from the concession stand. The drop off along this bank north is steep for at least 100 yards. In the summer and fall when there is less competition the small mouth gather in numbers feeding on small fry and or crayfish. Only real access is by boat........ However this is the year of the big Snakehead. All bets are off. Notice the lack of goslings or small malards? For that matter the lack of a small anything that is hatched from an egg near the water! Can't blame it on high water.

Hey guys!
Are there any smallies around Fletchers? If so - I'm going deep during
mid-day, right?
