Dry River in GW National Forest is a very good brook trout stream not too far from Mossy near Harrisonburg. The water is clear and the brookies will spook if not careful, but it can be easier fishing than Mossy. Plenty of access is off of rt 33. Make sure you have National Forest permits in addition to your freshwater/trout licenses.
