{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} First fly fishing outing ever!

I am new to the board. I have been kayak bass fishing with baitcasters
and spin tackle for a few years now. I participated in the Yak Attack
Tournament this past weekend which is a kayak bass fishing tournament
for charity. Just started learning how to fly fish this year and I
decided that this would be my first real outing trying to fly fish. I
have messed around on a stream before, but was really just practicing
casting. About 20 minutes after launching on Saturday morning I was
ready to go get my spin tackle, but then decided to stick with it. I
am glad I did.
First fish ever on the fly:

I set the hook so hard on this little guy he went flying past my
head. :)

First bass ever on the fly:

As you can see he annihilated the hula diver.

I am hooked on fly fishing now. Expect to see me around on this board
more. :)
