{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Chain bridge stripers

I made it down to the river for about an hour of fishing this evening and it was absolutely overflowing with small white perch and herring. I hooked a few on small clousers. The first striper I caught cuffed up a small baitfish about three inches long. I went to a 2/0 clouser and hooked a handful more of 12-inchers in quick succession before I had to go.

On the DC side about 300 yards upstream from the bridge in the big eddy.  I climbed out on a rock to reach the current.
