Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Potomac Fall Striper Timing

Gerry,

There are some larger schoolies mixed in with the 6" and 10" class sizes.  The river is full of shadlings and the stripers are gorging on them. Its just a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

Subject: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Potomac Fall Striper Timing

Dear TPFR,
This "cooler" weather is starting to make me think about fall striped bass.
When do larger stripers invade the upper reaches of the TP to intercept descending bait?
End of September?
Mid-October?
Thanks much and see you out there,
Gerry
p.s. Attached is a photo of an October steelhead from BC.
