I fished Sunday morning from the MD side before the deluge. I felt the water temperature was lower than usual.
The fish seemed to be less active than usual. I was able to sight fish to a couple of smallmouth topwater on a slider, but other than that, not much was going on.
It was still beautiful to be out on the river.

My buddy John and I fished Riverbend this Saturday from about 9am to noon. The water was as warm as a bath tub in spots. We were able to bring in a few bluegill on clouser minnows and pheasant tail nymphs. Also had a few small mouth strikes on a green wooly bugger.
