{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Shenandoa River Near Bentonville

I hit the North Fork of the Shenandoah as well this weekend in Toms Brook and had three great days of fishing. Rain soured the fishing on Monday, but good size smallies were found on the banks and in the holes around the stargrass. Also, the fallfish and aggressive bluegills were very eager to take a popper. The flow on the North Fork is PERFECT for wading right now. Here's my post about it at my blog: http://deadbait.wordpress.com/2012/09/05/north-fork-shenandoah/

Hey everybody -

I got out on to the Shenandoah this past Saturday and the river was PERFECT. My buddy and I had a great morning bite followed by a great evening bite. There was little if any algae, just the usual grasses and tons of fish. I honestly lost count of my panfish (mostly red breasted sunfish) and also got 5 smallmouth.

Get out there while you still can!
