Hit it yesterday evening with my brother at the bottom of the tide. Literally walked dry to within feet of the discharge. There were two other fly anglers on the water who gave me some good advice to walk upstream to where two of the power poles are literally in the middle of the river. We each got about four bass and several bluegill in about an hour and a half on poppers. This spot is the ultimate in urban fishing and so you gotta go with that in mind--it ain't pretty but its a bit of an adventure.--

I tossed medium and small blue poppers along the shore down one side and up the other. I was pleasantly surprised at how close to the shore some very large bass were hiding is really skinny water. In the three days, I have caught around 50 or so bass. Gotta hit the run again before the weekend ends.
