{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Cabin rental recommendations

A buddy and I stayed in a really nice though rustic cabin at Swallow Falls State Park in Garret County, MD.  It's in a standard state park camping area though, so it might get crowded/noisy.  Great fishing all around the area!

Check out Berkeley Springs Cottage Rentals in West Virginia - http://www.berkeleyspringscottagerentals.com/.  They have a huge selection of pretty affordable cabins and houses to rent, many of which have direct river access. It's about a 2 hour drive from DC and its beautiful country out there.

Hi TPFR,

Can anyone recommend a cabin rental within about two hours of DC, on or near a decent stream, for three or four adults and two children? I've been informed that we're taking the kids out to the sticks for Labor Day weekend and I'd like to get in a little fishing. Rustic or even very rustic is fine, indeed preferred.

thanks

Alex
