Went to Algonkian park 10:00 - 4:00 today.
We Fished around Sharpshin Island, with the flies we didn't get any bites so then we switched to spinning tackle and started hooking smallies.
They were all hiding under shades and structures. The water is clear, with polarized sunglasses you can see structures under the water. We were on the john boat with trolling motor, it really helped us find those structures. I'm thinking on taking my kayak out there, when the water level goes down a bit.
We ended up with twenty smallies ranging from 9 ~ 20 inches.
Not bad, huh?
Tight Lines,
Todd
