{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Too hot for brookies?

Good news Charlie, welcome back.  Let me know when you're ready to swing for some smallies -- maybe a kayak float in a few weeks.

I was out two weeks ago, the water was surprisingly warm then. I am certainly done with brookies for the year unless we get some more water and cooler temps in early Fall.

How is it going everyone?

Finally am recovered from surgery I had about a month ago and got the green light to fish. Super pumped.

The gf and I originally were planning on hitting the mountains for some Brookies but now I am wondering given the heat and lack of rain if it would be better to just save the gas and hit somewhere local. Any help is appreciated?

Also would prefer not to harm any brookies and am guessing that the water is probably way hot up there right now and they dont need to eat any flies this weekend.
