RE: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} low cost James River guides?

Wow Justin,  you grew up in a beautiful part of America. I wish I had a way to beam myself down there every time I want to fish for trout or smallmouth or panfish, especially during the heat of the summer here.  I am hoping to get a chance to fish the upper James sometime later this summer or maybe it will have to wait until next year.

Thanks for posting

I don't even know if they still offer fly fishing stuff. But Riders Up Outfitters in Clifton Forge is a possibility. If I was down there I could take you out. I grew up on the Cowpasture River which meets with the Jackson to form the James River.

I wouldn't skimp on a guide.  $400 is a reasonable price for a full day
(plus tip).  That is for 2 people, so it brings the price down by half.
