{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Good Wade-able places in NOVA?
Thanks guys. I haven't hiked in off of Fall Hill. We use to go there when the dam was still at embry and shad fish. Do you take the path that goes where the dam use to be for the Rappahannock? I am familiar with the rocks in the Rappahannock. It can be a very dangerous river to wade if you aren't careful.
Rob, Scott's Run sounds nice and I have to try that sometime.
Do you guys wet wade these areas? I remember in the past that I usually don't wet wade a place on my first trip there because I want to make sure it is okay for wet wading. That, and if the place has a lot of snakes I feel safer in waders (I am not really sure why because they could bite through the waders).
