Deadline to comment is today
The National Park Service is seeking public comment on 4 alternatives for the restoration of Dyke Marsh. While all boaters favor restoration, Alternative D potentially eliminates Belle Haven Marina. This Alternative must be removed from consideration and can only be done if enough citizens voice their opinion. Please read the two position statements below.

{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Fwd: June 20th deadline - Help Belle Haven Marina
If you use Belle Haven for boat rental, launch or marsh fishing, there's a deadline TODAY to help protect the marina. They're considering several alternative restoration plans for Dyke Marsh, and Option D could potentially wipe out the marina.
