Welcome.  I was up in Davis about 2 weeks ago in the Canaan Valley and the water was very low.  We fished a number of absolutely beautiful streams which should have been loaded with fish, but saw and caught nothing except two very small guys.  I'm pretty new to this sport, and not very skillful, but when you don't even see the fish, that's pretty bad.  The locals all said that they'd had luck earlier in the Spring but nothing since about mid-May.  Hope you do better.  Still it's a beautiful and very enjoyable place to strike out and I'd happily try again!

Howdy fellow fishermen,

I'm pretty new to the group, but thought I'd hit you guys (and gals) up for some tips.  I'm heading up to the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia for the weekend (gf's brother has a cabin up there).  I know the Cacapon and Potomac are up there, but does anyone know of a stream that a noob can wade easily?  I was thinking of going for some smallies, but I'm not too familiar with good wading spots up around there.  Hopefully someone knows of a good area. Any tips are appreciated.
