{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} August 13th Beer Tie to support Casting for Recovery

Our next Beer Tie to be held on Monday, August 13 from 7PM-9PM will be supporting Casting for Recovery (CFR). CFR is an organization that provides an opportunity for women suffering from breast cancer to experience the serenity of the outdoors through fly fishing.  

For the Beer Tie, we will be donating flies for the local retreat. Much like the CFR Beer Tie last year, the theme will be pink flies for trout fishing. Just add some pink chenille, marabou, hackle or whatever to regular beer tie kit to tie these flies. Two prime examples are shown below: 

If some of those that are voracious at the vise want do some something really special, they can tie 14 of the same fly that we can gift to the ladies to put on their hats. In Texas last year a man created some amazing hummingbirds. Let's see how creative our TPFRers can be.

With this being said, any flies will be most graciously accepted, pink or not. Hope to see you there, and feel free to post your pink flies in this thread ahead of time.
