Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Planning a trip to the Frank Church Wilderness in Idaho

I did a 9-day float in 2006.  It was beautiful.  I was not an angler then, so I don't have any tips for you on that end.  But remember that it is indeed a remote area.  If you are injured, you're not going to be able to dial 911 on your cell phone.

Cheers,

Subject: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Planning a trip to the Frank Church Wilderness in Idaho

Anyone ever been?  It would be a combination hiking/fishing trip, so we'd be looking for good fishing and nice scenery.  We will be on foot, and won't be able to pack in waiters or boots because we need to save weight.  Anyone ever go?  Any recommendations on where we might want to fish or hike in?  Thanks.
