{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Corolla, NC Intell Request

Hi- Just got back from Corolla and didn't do too well in the surf. No pocket water near our beach. One day we went pier fishing down at Jennette's in Kill Devil, which was fun if you like that scene. Bait and lures there. 

Some intel that I didn't get a chance to act on is that there are a LOT of speckled trout on the sound side, in the morning and near drop off. They like "gulp" plastics according to a couple sources but I'm sure they'd like clousers. Was told you could wade but I'd suggest a boat. Report if you get into em!
