The Shannon's streamer looks pretty good.  I think that it will have similar action to Shenk's White Streamer. 

Shenk's White is an easy streamer to tie and I have been making them for years.  Once you get the hang of the dubbing loop the rest is straight forward.  I tie these in size 8, 6, and 4.  The hook is Mustad 9672 and I use a heavy tread in white.  This is my go-to pattern for smallies.
