Afternoon yall, going to throw out a bobber here and see what bites on a dangerous topic on any fishing forum. I am new to the area and I was hoping to get a feel for how the area fishes. I am used to brackish light tackle in Eastern NC and I am curious on what the opportunities are in the area. I have a JB 198 that has fished all over the country and is the preferred platform to fish out of, but I wont hesitate to get waist deep and walk. I am extremely open to take others fishing that don't have a boat and do it on a regular basis, that know the area to lower my learning curve. I like to chase birds, fish structure, and get in the back country. I know the season is upon us, but I'm looking to get up to speed on at least a head start of where to put in and what areas to target.
