I took the attached picture from an Ohio fly fishing Facebook group... It seems like a lot of folks up there on Lake Erie are catching these massive smallies in the rivers right now. As I understand it, they come into the tributaries for a bit in the spring before going back into the lake the rest of the year where you can only get them on spin gear.
-- My parents live up that way. Anyone ever fished this? Looks like a freaking blast. This guy said he caught 20 fish in three hours wherever he was... Definitely going on my list for next year!
