I did a lot of saltwater fishing in Boston area before I moved to MD three years ago. I have a 9wt rod for striper but I barely use it after I moved to here. Every memorial weekend, I still drove back to MA to fly fish the spring run striper. I am interested in the Susquehanna river below conowingo dam to the flats. But I couldn't find a place to cast and was confused by the special striper regulation in that area too.

I use a sit in kayak, 13 foot wilderness systems pungo with a dashboard.  I keep it simple not to many things to get flyline caught on.  Also have an anchor trolley on one side.  I use it in the Potomac river and  lakes with no problems.  If I decide to put it in the bay I would add some air flotation bags in the bow and stern for additional safety.
