Landed 3 hickories tonight a good ways downstream of CB, on VA side. Spent too much time too close to the bridge, but was happy to finally get into them at the end of the evening. Felt like we were chasing small pods of fish. Would catch one, then all quiet until i would move to the next point. Saw an enormous hickory jump at one point, but the ones I landed were on the small side. One nice 13-14". Herring are thick at the bridge.
Only gonna get better from here on! Woooo!
