Hi everyone,
I'm new here. I've relocated from SC. I have been fishing my whole life and have flyfished for around 25 years. I have been fishing the Potomac heavily since I've been here so I thought I would start posting my experiences. This is an amazing fishery.
Anyways, nice to meet everyone.
This morning I arrived at Gravelly Point around 4:30 AM and fished the tide change. I caught 5 schoolies until first light and the tide got slack. I have found the outgoing to definitely be better but my observation is that the fish will eat in there as long as the water is moving . I caught the first 2 on a chartreuse half and half and the next 3 on a Puglisi style Peanut Butter. All in the 12-16 inch range. Looking forward to a cold snap here pretty soon.
