Last month I took a trip out west. Fishing was just a small part of the trip, but I got to fish the most beautiful pocket water I've ever seen.
It was mile upon mile of fish holding spots.
I stayed at and fished with Costilla Creek Lodge just north of Taos NM. https://www.costillacreek.com
They have access to a large amount of private water with wild fish. I caught rainbow, brown, and brookies on the two creeks I fished. Another Creek has native strain Rio Grand Cutthroat.
The hospitality and food were fantastic and the fishing has me ready to go back next summer.
This is the only shot of I have of myself fishing there. I need to work on my fish modeling skills.
