So if you were going to do some bass fishing over the next few weeks from shore along the Potomac between say Key Bridge and Scott's Run/Carderock, what type of structure or habitat would you look for? I'm still pretty much a newbie and generally just wing it. That's worked before, but it's not working at all this year. I've had a heck of a time catching bass lately (or anything else for that matter). I'm not asking for your particular honey hole, but any general tips on what types of "fishy" spots I should be looking for this time of year? Kind of a broad, basic quesion, but any insights you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks.
