Have had good experience shooting fish with GoPro Black, I strap to my right thigh on my waders with what I think is supposed to be a headband. Camera hangs upside-down, but you can fiddle with the settings to automatically rotate 180*. 

When hooked up, it's a bit of a challenge to use my leg to capture the fight, but it's a neat perspective. Also cool to capture bushwhacking to get to a hole, hurdling logs and dodging poison ivy.

What mounts are people using to capture fishing? I didn't get a chest mount because I can't imagine it ever shooting good video the way I cast. I bought an extension pole, head mount and clamp on mount with a bendy arm (so far my favorite as long as I know where the action will be coming from). 

I'm totally new to this whole thing. Would love to hear everyone's experience with them, particularly how to use them while fishing yourself. I'm headed to Brazil in about a week to fish on a mothership on the Rio Negro for 7 days for monster peacocks and I want to film some of it. I'm going solo and will probably be put on a boat with somebody I don't know. Will shoot a lot of that person's fishing, if they are willing, and try to shoot my own fishing.
