{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Goose Creek Reservoir/Beaverdam Reservoir

Hey Morgan,

I live right down the road from both areas.  Goose is a bit low right now and you'll need to drag a bit but you can access at a couple spots:

1.  Goose Creek Golf Course (right off Rt 7)

2.  Kephart Landing ( http://itouchmap.com/?d=2086830&s=VA&f=park )

if you launch at Kephart you can head down to the potomac pretty easily/quickly.  Another option if you want to hit the potomac is Algonkian Regional Park.

Beaverdam Reservoir is tough fishing but a good spot and easy to access.  

Take Rt 7 West to Belmont Ridge

Left on Belmont Ridge Rd

Right on Mt Hope Rd

Mt Hope ends at the Reservoir

I can see the "creek" is pretty big, does anyone have any experience here that could recommend driving directions. I am not looking for anyone to give away their sweet spots I just can't find any obvious access to it that isn't private property. It looks like it would be a decent recreational kayaking spot as well.
