September 12th speaker: Dan Davala – Orvis Store Fishing manager,
Arlington VA – FFF Master Certified Casting Instructor and Pres. of
the Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders.
Dan was born in Fairfax, Virginia and has fished the lakes, rivers,
streams and beaches of this region since he was a child. He started
fishing with his Grandfather at the age of five, and picked up the fly
rod at the age of fourteen. Dan is passionate about fly fishing in all
its forms, whether crouching through a small mountain stream for Brook
Trout, plying the surf with a stripping basket strapped to his waist,
or launching huge articulated flies into the churning waters of our
Tidal Potomac with Skagit lines and two-handed rods.

Vienna, VA from 7:00 to 9:00. Open to the Public.
