Pretty sure it's a rosyside dace. Did it jump clean out of the water on the take?

I was out fishing a small stream in upper Montgomery County practicing my tree avoidance strategy for trout fishing. I did manage to catch a few chub minnows on top and I hooked into this little boy on my dropper. I thought it might be a rainbow, but it seems to be something else. Does anyone have any ideas of what this colorful little fish is? -- Carl -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders" group.
