6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.This event is free to the public, but space is limited and registration is required. Use the link below to register in advance and meet at the fishing trailer in the Tidal Basin parking lot near the paddleboat rentals to check in, sign out equipment, and receive instruction on the best fish to target. This free event will be held rain or shine. It is best suited for older teens, adults, and seniors, but youth 15 and under may share equipment with their adult chaperones. Participants should dress for the weather and bring water as well as flashlights/headlamps for fishing after sunset.
REMINDER: Participants 16-64 years old must have a valid, 2019 DC fishing license. Obtain a 2019 DC Fishing License online for $10.00 for District residents ($13.00 for non-residents).
