Attached is the current information I have for the upcoming Southern Maryland Slam September 20-21. Please read through the document and let me know if everything makes sense and if you have any questions.

I'm in charge of running the tournament and lining up boat captain / operators to to be a part of the event. If you are interested and available to be a boat captain/operator for one of the Southern Maryland Slam teams we would greatly appreciate it! If you know of anyone that you think might be interested please forward this information onto them.
We're still 8 boats short for this event so please share this information with anyone that has a boat that you think might be interested in supporting this event.
Tournament Boat Captain / Operator Requirements:
- Boat must be insured and registered in accordance with applicable laws
- Each team competing in the tournament will consist of 1 PHWFF participant angler, 1
PHWFF volunteer guide & 1 boat captain / operator. Boat must be capable of safely
having the entire team on board throughout the entire tournament.
- The tournament is fly fishing only. Boat must be capable of letting anglers cast a fly rod.
Only two anglers can fish on boat at one time.
- Boat captain/operator will donate their time, services, boat & fuel for tournament
- All vessels and anglers shall comply with USCG, Maryland and federal fisheries laws and
regulations regarding fishing licenses, vessel permits, and fishing gear.
- PHWFF will cover the cost of lodging on Friday September 20 and Saturday September
21 if needed at the Holiday Inn in Solomons, MD (Address: 155 Holiday Dr, Solomons,
MD 20688)
- PHWFF will provide the following meals:
o Friday September 20: Welcome dinner
o Saturday: Breakfast (at hotel), lunch (bagged lunches) & dinner (at fundraiser
dinner).
