{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Cape Cod report

Had a trip to Cape Cod for business.  Got in some fishing at Scusset State Beach Park.  Hit the water at 515am and walked the beach looking for any activity-there was none.  Started blind casting randomly and hit my first striper around 6am.  I was satisfied with 1 and was about to leave so I started walking back to my car and that 1 last cast hit another fish.  I kept at it until about 9am.  Total of 8 stripers, mostly in the 14-16 in range with about 20in.  Not bad for blind casting.

The water is COLD.  I was in full waders and had to take a break to warm up.   The water is very clear but I could site cast and in talking to a local its mostly blind casting.

All in all a cool morning.
