There are muskies in the river just upstream from the Shepherdstown boat ramp (a rocky mother if the water is low). I did not have a fly rod, but the gent I fished with catches them there from late Spring to late Fall. We saw one, about 4 ft long, approach my friend's lure as he did the figure 8 on his retreive. Only one we saw that day. I think a big Half and Half would have gotten that fish to eat.
