The potomac sections in washington county md are supposed to hold muskie.

There are muskies in the river just upstream from the Shepherdstown boat ramp (a rocky mother if the water is low). I did not have a fly rod, but the gent I fished with catches them there from late Spring to late Fall. We saw one, about 4 ft long, approach my friend's lure as he did the figure 8 on his retreive. Only one we saw that day. I think a big Half and Half would have gotten that fish to eat.Open Fly
