In addition to seaching fly forums around the net for info on new locations, I found some great information from the local guides and charter companies websites. They may not give away all their secrets but they are still a wealth of knowledge. A quick google search on "key west fly fishing guides" yeilded a number of sites with info on fly patterns, a few techniques, and a couple species calendars. Additionally, I can't tell you how much useful info I've received from Google and Youtube -- and how much time I've wasted on both. Best of luck when you get down there.
