Docks is the wrong spot. Cross the river and head left to Falmouth Beach. Wade out in sand below the fall line. Wade above bridge to fish shad in braided channels. 

On a nice day then beach is absolutely packed. When shad are in get there early or it's shoulder to shoulder. You'll have to find the right tide and standing spot and then you'll be into fish. 

Excellent chance for snakehead there. 

I miss living in Fredvegas and the five min drive to access that spot.
