Try the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. There are numerous tidal rivers and fresh water ponds. I'll just list a few spots but many more to choose from.
Blackwater River
Pocomoke River
There's a pond in Tuckahoe State Park.
A handful of ponds in Idylwild Wildlife Management Area.
Unicorn Lake.
A variety of fish species to pursue including Largemouth Bass, Snakehead, Chain Pickerel, Crappie, Yellow Perch and other species
A weather front is passing through on Friday, so Sunday will probably be a better fishing day.
Hope this helps

Hello folks, we had a trip planned to go fly fishing for trout to PA tomorrow but it got cancelled because of the weather/rain.--Does anyone have any recommendations for places to go fishing this weekend? (Ideally within 2-4 hours drive from DC.)BestNaty
