Was in Vail last week and fished the upper Colorado with Minturn Anglers. This is peak season but see if you can get out with them. We easily boated 40+ fish and moved twice as many with big streamers. Nymphing was by far the most productive technique though. Nate Diamond was our guide and he was amazing. By far the best guide I've ever experienced.

Have connections to guides in Steamboat Springs but they are all booked.  

Also considering fishing the Silverthorn area.

Definitely would consider other areas, but need ALL of your guide/outfitter recommendations!
