TPFR will be holding its 4th annual Bluegill Tournament on September 6-7th. The goal, per usual, is to determine blugill bragging rights for the next year and to have fun! This will be a 24 hour tournament and we will have two age divisions 16+ and under 16. Admission is $10.00 for the senior division and those in the Junior division (under 16) admission is free. Medals will be awarded in each division for the following categories:

2.       Only the use of Fly rod and reel or Tenkara
3.       Fish must be caught in DC, MD, or VA

5.       You absolutely must have fun.

6.       All Submissions MUST include the official TPFR Ruler which will be emailed to registrants.

Bluegill is being used as a general name for fish in the Sunfish family: Bluegill, Red Breasted Sunfish, Warmouth, Etc. No Crappie or Largemouth. Tournament Admission fee is $10.00 for Senior and free for Juniors. Junior division registrants please email bluegill@tpfr.org with your name and age to receive submission guidelines and ruler.

We will be holding a closing ceremony at Whitlows on Wilson in Arlington on Monday, September 9th during Beer Tie.  Medals and other prizes will be awarded at 8:00pm sharp.

Registrants will be emailed submission guidelines and official ruler prior to the tournament start time. Let the games begin!
