Was going to post a report but the best striper fishing for me was last weekend in the Miles River. It was a quantity vs quality bite. Buddy has a boat, we were out on the Miles River just north of St. Micheals when we spotted some bird activity. We positioned the boat about 100 yards in front and it was game on with 14-18 schoolies. They were popping on the surface. Caught a bunch on a clouser then switched to the popper. The action was fast and furious, we chased them for about 45 mins and lost track after about 20 fish between us. We found another school of smaller guys near the shore but they were smaller. .
