I know this is an older thread, but I just joined the group and was looking through the archive and this thread caught my attention. You should check out the Point at Pintail, which is located right across the Bay Bridge. I believe they offer a "cast and blast" combo.
-- I didn't know about any of the other locations mentioned, so I'll have to add those to my list - thank you!

I second Greg's recommendation - the fist place that I thought of was The Homestead. Bonus: the offer Falconry! Also - check GroupOn for deals on The Homestead.--ScottOn Sun, May 6, 2018 at 9:10 PM, Logan Elisabeth Schmidt <logan.e...@gmail.com> wrote:What lovely suggestions! Thank you, Jeff, Carl, and Greg! I'll be sure to check all of these out.--

I've been to both of the places on law firm retreats and on my own dime. I'd suggest the former if you can swing it! Both have Orvis affiliated fishing operations; I haven't shot at either. I fished with my wife at Nemacolin, they weren't weird or snooty at all, especially when she out fished me!Have fun.Cheers,-- GregSent from my iPhoneLogan,I think you are going to have to do the mix and match yourself. I would look for fishing first and then do a google for sporting clays in the area. It's going to be easier to find a sporting clays range than good trout fishing.I am guessing you will have to drive to the range. I can think of a few places that I would start.* For SNP/brookie fishing: Rose River Farm was mentioned, there or Graves Mountain Lodge would be good place to start.* Harman's cabins in WV would be good a little further away.* Carlisle PA (Yellow Breeches, LeTort and Big Spring) The Allenberry resort is under new management and might be an interesting place. I haven't heard any recent reviews.* Central PA, Spruce, Little Juniatta, SpringCreek, ....It sounds like a fun outing.--Carl--Carl ZmolaOn Sun, May 6, 2018 at 7:59 PM, Logan Elisabeth Schmidt <logan.e...@gmail.com> wrote:Anyone have a favorite place to fly fish, shoot some clays (sporting/trap/skeet), that also has lodging? I'm trying to find a fun place that isn't terribly far away (bonus if they aren't weird/snooty about women fishers/sport shooters). I'm going to do the standard Google search, but figured I'd ask the experts first!--Thanks in advance for any advice, and hope everyone's having a banger fishing season so far!-Logan
