Went down to Rock Creek Park Thursday after work for a small hike with my fiancee, with the ulterior motive of scoping out potential fishing spots. I started at south of the P Street Bridge, and I was completely swarmed with mosquitoes. It looked like a good spot but I definitely need to bring bug spray next time. Lost some tippet and a fly; however, I ended up catching two little sunfish. I'm pretty proud since I only started fishing again for the past month. Spotted some larger LMB but didn't have the time since she was getting impatient. Unfortunately she was too far away to get a photo of the second sunfish I caught, which I swear was the size of my palm. Any spots I should check out in Rock Creek Park?
