Years ago my childhood friend and I would fish Point of Rocks, and around Harpers Ferry. Just being kids we were happy catching anything that would hit our popping bugs and wet wading in our swimsuits. Usually we'd catch plenty of sunfish and small bass. With more experience under my belt I'd love to revisit with my canoe. Having a boat of some type really opens up a lot more water, and larger fish. If you are wade fishing going out when the river is low will allow you to access more holes. Just be careful wading out there!

Does anyone have any experience fishing up near the Point of Rocks/Brunswick branch of the Potomac? I've been multiple times but have never had any luck.
