I used to live over there, and I think that stretch is part of the family fishing day event when they start stocking. I can't remember for sure, but I'd say there's a good chance of something.

Since I'm going to be there anyway I'm thinking about bringing along a 3wt and see if there are any bluegills in there.

Anyone ever fished that section?
