Some of y'all were out there when my son caught this, not last weekend, but weekend before last. Is this an American? It was huge. This was caught on his little Mr. crappie rod, which made it turn into an interesting fight, especially since I left the net in the car.
-- P.S. My buddy had rolled up my window on the tip of my 8 wt. so we were throwing spinning gear. But I figured for the kids, it was ok. ;)
Don't fret. got it replaced last week with a TFO rod on sale from Cabelas. Had fun with on Sunday. All hickories.
