I suggest heading to a spring creek instead then. You could do a half-day guided trip on one for not much more than the cost of fishing RRF. If you haven't fished RRF yet (or you've never fished a trout stream), it's worth doing. But RRF is about as un-challenging as it gets - which, depending on the angler, is either a really good or really bad thing.

Early June should be great.  Late June should be OK, but probably not as good as early June.
