I go to school at William and Mary and unfortunately there are very few places that I've found which are good for fly fishing. I've had some luck at Chickahominy Reservoir, but that requires a boat, which you can rent but requires a bit of effort. You might have some luck at College Landing Park, but that can be really hit or miss and I haven't tried it in the winter. Other than that, Waller Mill Reservoir and Little Creek Reservoir can be good if you rent a boat. If anyone else knows of even halfway decent fly fishing in the area I would love to know. I've been really lacking on my time on the water while I'm down there.
Glad you posted this,
John

Hey Gang,Seems to be a lot of activity amongst members recently, good to see people still getting after it even though its January. I am headed down to the Williamsburg area next week and was curious if you guys had and suggestions of spots in the area? any suggestions in that general area would be greatly appreciated.on a side note, I had a ton of success landing small LMB and pans over at 4MR with green rubber legged wooly.
