{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} January Clean Up Opportunities

Hi all, I wanted to share some info on a few riverside clean ups going on this month.

REI and the Potomac Conservancy are hosting two clean up opportunities.  

The first one is this Sunday, January 6 from 10am-Noon at Lock 8 on the C/O path. (http://www.rei.com/event/47174/session/62891)

The second is Sunday, January 20 from 10am-Noon at Fletcher's Cove (http://www.rei.com/event/47176/session/62893)

A third clean up is being offered by the Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District and REI the morning of January 21 (MLK Day) at Holmes Run in NOVA.  (http://www.rei.com/event/47816/session/64414)

As we are all users and fans of the local water ways I thought some folks on this list would be interested in helping clean up these areas. I plan on attending at least two events.
